The Executive Director(ED) is responsible for the ensuring the overall World Class operation of the skilled nursing community to which he/she is entrusted. Leadership Responsibilities:Builds and sustains a World Class culture around the Communitys Purpose and Guiding VirtuesWith the involvement of the Department Heads and key staff, develops and deploys the Communitys Strategic Plan around the following six strategic pillars: i.Leadershipii.Workforce Focus iii.Customer Focusiv.Revenue Growth v.Cash Flow vi.Manage ExpensesB. Workforce Focus Responsibilities:Ensures all staff is thoroughly trained to provide World Class Service and Quality. Improving the overall Customer Experience is critical.Develops and maintains an effective Community Retention Committee.Develops and maintains (as needed) an effective Community Recruitment Committee.Develops and maintains an effective Community Safety Committee that helps ensure the facility is a safe place to work.Hires and develops Department Heads and holds them accountable.C. Customer Focus Responsibilities:Ensures the community leadership and staff are well training on specifically improving the overall Customer Experience.Works with the SVP of Clinical Services, the Director of Clinical Services, the Director of Nutritional Services and other Axiom consultants to ensure the community consistently delivers World Class resident care in a creative, interactive, social atmosphere.Works with the Clinical Leadership Team to become an expert on Team TSIs IntelliLogic Software : Quality Suite to ensure cutting edge QAPI Implementation and Performance Excellence.Ensures that the community has effective Customer Service Programs that include World Class Activities, Customer Satisfaction Surveys, Fine Dining, Resident Council, Volunteer Program, etc .Ensures the facility excels in all regulatory compliance areas.D. Revenue Growth Responsibilities:Ensures that community census levels are at or near capacity at all times. Ensures that all Department Heads, Director of Community Relations, Director of Business Development and the RN Referral Hub Manager are constantly updated on current resident census, as well as projected discharges and admissions.Works with the Director of Community Relations to develop and sustain an active marketing presence with social workers, discharge planners and other referral sources to ensure a consistent pipeline of new resident referrals.Works closely with the Director of Nursing, the Director of Clinical Services, physicians and the Medical Director to creatively look for ways to safely and profitably admit more residents that might, at first glance, appear to be clinically challenging.Works with the Director of Reimbursement to maximizing reimbursement rates while always ensuring that resident needs come first.E.
