85 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Restoration Project in Wichita, Kansas For Sale

American Motors Corp.'s late model xxxx Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4x4 is approx. 85% restored. It has 16,000 miles on brand new 360 CI V8 motor, and only 133,000 original miles on 2nd owner vehicle. Clean title, Maroon in color, nearly new tires, and most items under the hood also replaced when new motor was installed. Over $xxxx in new & very good serviceable parts & equipment yet to be installed also goes with this project car to the buyer. I drive it 3 to 4 times per week on short errands around town. It does need finishing and lots of TLC from a new owner. You should have some mechanical expertise & be able to work on it.
I recently installed a nearly new, low mileage, set of Uniroyal All-Terrain tires which cost well over $xxxx new. Battery is just a year or so old too. When it is completely finished to showroom condition this vehicle should be worth around $35 - $50 thousand. It is already an Antique or Classic Auto in many states and will be in Kansas before long.
xxxx was the last year for this American Motors made vehicle, & the last year for this carbureted engine. In xxxx Chrysler purchased American Motors Corp. & a short time thereafter dis-continued making the Grand Wagoneer. Several things make this vehicle rather rare to the collector of Antique or Classic automobiles.
